Revolving marking systems

Our revolving marking systems are the ideal solution for precise and durable marking of workpieces. The constant engagement of the marking roll during the entire embossing process results in uniform and clean marking—even with high quantities. These systems offer maximum process reliability and flexibility, especially in series production.

Properties and applications of revolving marking systems

Revolving marking systems work with a marking roll that remains in constant contact throughout the entire embossing process.
Marking is achieved by several rotations of the marking roll, resulting in uniform and precise marking. The ratio between the marking roll and the workpiece must be precisely observed, as the marking roll is directly linked to the workpiece diameter.

This application requires particularly precise concentricity (Ø 0.03 mm) and adherence to tight tolerances of ±0.025 mm for the workpiece diameter. In addition, drive knurls or dots are necessary, which can be reworked and removed if necessary. In addition to cylindrical surfaces, end faces and conical workpieces can also be marked reliably.

A clear example of this is marking in the groove, which demonstrates the high precision and flexibility of rotary marking systems. See for yourself – we have prepared a video for you.

Benefits of the revolving marking system for the user

Revolving marking systems impress with their ease of use and high efficiency. The marking rolls can be replaced quickly and easily, enabling short setup times and significantly speeding up the production process. These systems really come into their own in series production, as they are ideally suited to large quantities.

They also offer maximum flexibility: all common fonts can be used, and special characters such as logos, backslashes, stars, or diamonds can also be used as drives without any problems. In addition to marking cylindrical surfaces, the systems also offer a wide range of applications, including end-face and conical markings.
